Evenin', B.D., Looks like Meridian and Falcon may have their hands full: biz.yahoo.com Interesting that they call a blowout a "well control situation" Good thing it hasn't caught fire, that will make getting it under control much easier. Mixed signals here: they say they are "safely venting gas to the atmosphere". This implies the BOP's are closed in and the gas is being routed away from the rig....but I can't think of a situation where I would continue venting gas if I could shut the well in. Hope the well continues to blow without igniting, it will make controlling it much simpler. Good luck to all on the rig. Regards, Aggie
