I am crashingly un-conversant with Superstring Theory.

But it reminds me of a childhood incident echoed in young adulthood. When I was ten? they came out with the first aerosol string toy. "Silly String". A competitor soon sold Super String. The question was how they DID that - put string in a can so it came out the long way.

So when I was in college and a friend mentioned the then fresh Superstring Theory - I blurted out "you mean they found out how it always comes out of the can without snagging?"

But I don't think we need to feel confined by theories about the material Universe when building Heaven. If the entire mundane Cosmos can be mapped onto two dimensions - the Numinous is (methinks) an extra dimension or two rising out of the plane.
