Re: "Has Intel not recovered yet from seeing such high marks from a processor they will be available to purchase in August?"

We were supposed to be able to purchase one in June. Now we have an "announcement" that was really just a smokescreen to try and ease the blow of the devastating news of a $200Million+ loss upcoming. No benchmarks and the silly unverifiable relative comparisons were done on a motherboard that is "unavailable" and no information on what operating system was used. Were they run under Win98? Clearly there would have been no "announcement" if it weren't for the disastrous financial news.

Has Intel recovered? I hope not. They need to get their butt in gear on the outside chance that by some unimaginable mistake AMD actually pulls this off.
