Thanx. I thought I was not a big user and I bought a 10 pack twice. I don't use them much and am disorganized with them and my computer.
You knew more than me. You knew the ratio was about 4 to 1.
I wear a tie. I don't know what you mean by tie.
You refer to 32 million drives and then 50 million drives by year 2000. I don't understand the time frame that said 18 mllion or 25 million or 7 million drives are to be sold in.
What percentage of the zip disks and its clones are and will be sold by Iomega?

Darrell,

The following is a direct quote from a recent Iomega news release dated June 21, 1999.

At present, more than 25 million Zip drives and 150 million Zip disks have shipped worldwide.

Seems to me the tie ratio (number of disk sold vs. number of drives sold) is 6....not 4! (125 million divided by 25 million = 6)
