My apologies to the group for digressing. Ed, Has he actually given anyone any tax cuts? I thought he vetoed the last tax cut measures, or threatened to. It was translated from English to Japanese, but this weekend he was on the news over here, talking about tax cuts. Correct me if I am wrong, but he said something like...I'm all for tax cuts but you can't give tax cuts and increase defense spending if it causes you to neglect environmentalism, schools, and social welfare programs. Slick Willy at his best. Walk the conservative walk, lie about everything, then tax & spend, tax & spend. Consider something else, when recently asked about how history will view him, he had no response except to say something like he has one and one-half years left in his presidency. Make no mistake, Ed, Clinton it going to do everything in his power not to go down as the president that got a blow job from a subordinate worker. I find it interesting that Ted Kennedy can kill his girl friend and that in the late '90s Bubba can get a blow job from a subordinate worker, and the Women's movement remains silent. Yet Bob Packwood, who may have grabbed a few breasts and squeezed a few buttocks during a time when it was acceptable behavior, got thrown out of office. And let us not forget Clarence Thomas -- smart, conservative, and a self-made man -- got raked over the coals by the press and the women's movement for a supposed and never proven improper relationship with Anita Hill. Given Bubba is a repeated liar, and a convicted sex offender, do you really think you would get the tax cuts if Tom Daschle & the Democrats were in charge?
