Actually, Christine, I LIKE tapioca pudding....not the super-sweet tapioca powder crap that is all I can find in the stores these days, but the REAL stuff my mother used to make with REAL tapioca, flavored slightly with coffee...YUM! I freely admit that all my assumptions were as incorrect as your assumption about my attitude towards tapioca pudding. <g> I just had this vision of a comfortable middle-aged couple as an avatar of an 8-year-old (should have been 10-year-old) child...
