You should buy that "crap" Christine, because if this government ever became truly oppressive -- say a right-wing statist type government -- the only recompense citizens would have would be to fight the government as our forefathers did. An armed citizenry cannot easily be oppressed by a centralized power. Unarmed citizens are targets and sheep waiting for Caligula's "one throat to be cut". BTW, it is my understanding that the crime statistics on Florida [in respect to the right to carry concealed handguns] comes from the police. FT
