Dear marvin: Personally, I dont think he will raise rates more than 1/4 pt. Here's why--you say Asia is improving--well, Asia means Japan and while they are moving forward the progress I hear is fragile. One bad BURP and here we go again. Greenspan knows that. Secondly, I dont think its rational to think that Greenspan who is getting the Lions Share of the credit for the long economic expansion why are having will want to slay it. Finally, despite all, no can say with any assurance that inflation is raising its ugly head. JDN
