El <<"from 23 to 51 in about 3 months. If it did it once, it can do it again.">> That was possible until all the news got out and earnings sucked. Add the fact they may not make any money this year, are changing direction every week, still have a huge number of excess people, have no strong direction set, tons of negativism by analysts and reporters, institutional ownership is dropping, competitors are taking mkt share, are putting out almost zero positive news, and I could go on... expecting 28 - 29 this year and maybe 35 in 00 BUT only if the bull remains alive. If the bull slows or dies CPQ retraces to new lows. Since I can hold forever I'll wait until my losses dwindle or it is gone by bailing 25% a year, beginning this fall, against gains.. None of us had any idea just how sick this company was or is.. not certain we have all the bad news yet either. Hell they could not even find a buyer as no one would buy these problems and future losses! As you look for 51 fast I am hoping for 41 in 3 years and sincerly doubt that will happen.. hoping YOU are correct and I am wrong!!!
