BlueCrab, string together a RAID array, put it on a network, add a little software and you have your storage solution. Add a few acronyms for spice.
Graphics chips are a good example of how crowded good, even difficult, technology can be. In FC storage you have much bigger players that have always been ready to deploy, based on demand.

I think in the several prospectuses issued by Ancor you will find a warning about how this field is also crowded with a number of competitors with greater resources, a better operational history, etc. etc. I have nothing against the company, it may get up to $40M/year or better in the next few years before it disappears. Nothing I've found even remotely justifies the market cap - even drawing parallels with crazy Brocade doesn't work well, since there are good counter-examples in other industries. Generally the hyper-inflation is limited to the IPO issue for a limited time.
