Exactly how does a Quaker reconcile the pacifist ideas of the sect with the duty to kill as a soldier. How did you reconcile it when you fought in the war? Or how did you reconcile being a patriot with be a noncombatant in the war? Or with not serving in the war. I am not teasing, I just want to know how you thought your way through these problems.
