I don't think CompUSA has any real sale prices. Just the rebate scams to make an "adverstised price after rebate" LOOK like a sale price.

For example, I've been told by 3COM's rebate department that the printing of rebate checks is running 7 weeks BEYOND the 6 week required period. After a while, the buying public gets skeptical of the 'after rebate prices' and for good reason. And still, we find clueless CompUSA continuing to "play" the rebate game while the general public has since been burned and won't return.

As a consumer I have learned not to count on getting rebates even from big companies. I now shop online to obtain a lower price.
