Cobalt, my wife had three miscarriages at about 11 weeks. For the first one, I drove her like a bat-out-of-hell to the hospital. And stood next to her, holding her hand, as they pulled little shells of the remaining body parts out. I nearly fainted as the doctor explained this was a foot. For the next one, I had to fish the remains out of our toilet and wrap it before going to the hospital. Since it was explained to me after the first one to be important to the doctors. On the third one, I simply held my wife and couldn't look at any events taking place in the room. The feelings that those events gave me cannot be described by mere words on a screen. I ached for my wife who seemed to live and re-live those episodes, over and over for months afterwards.

I can only imagine what you witnessed as a young college student.
