Yes, different accounts would be one way .... How can you be long and short at the same time ? However, several brokerages I've used in the past would allow some leeway in the positioning of long and short ... especially at differing time and/or prices .... BUT this one isn't real .... so I don't need to worry about the rules ....... ggggg Nemer

Hal ... OT ... (I use this OT so seldom as most of my posts are concise and kept strictly to the thread subject matter) I was driving down the road headed to the racetrack last Thursday and thought of YOU and started laughing so hard that folks in the other vehicles looked at me very strangely. Hwy 290 is the road out of Austin which takes me to the track (12 miles) and also leads to Houston (about a 100 miles, I forget the exact distance) ... any way ... here I am, driving to the track for what I hope is a pleasant and profitable day ... and I look up and see this GIANT billboard ... there wasn't too much in the way of copy on this great big board .. just a few words , but great big words ... HOUSTON VASECTOMY REVERSALS and a phone number ..... what made it so funny was I could see some of the 2x4s you'd borrowed from Scooter up there ...... they must have been working on the sign, for the 2x4s were gone when I came back a couple of hours later ...... and I started laughing because I KNEW that you had left your machine business up north and that right up there on that board was the advertising for your new endeavor ...... GGGGGGGGG The rest of the thread probably won't enjoy it as much as I did ..... gggggggg I still laughed when I was typing this ..... Nemer
