DD, Ron and others, I am somewhat confused by the amount of misunderstanding that surrounds ABX. It seems speculators and people who focus on gold miss the point altogether. Probably because they invest in lower grade (volitile) investments where they wait to hit the jackpot? I have no idea. We should start on organization or support group for people who view ABX as a finance (risk management firm) company who also happens to mine for gold. And also for investors who buy ABX based on past earning records and future potential. Why won't most people not sit down and put pencil to paper and ANALYZE ABX? And ANALYZE the gold market and industry trends? And ANALYZE the different player and their indiviual motive? Doesn't anyone care or have an interest in gathering all the facts, and after careful ANALYSIS, than make a determination on their own? It would help to raise the quality of our discuss. A strong fact based discussion would only help all of our interst. I think I am just going to go buy more of the companies I believe in and stop fooling around with these discussion groups.
