LOL --
357 range
I'm still on very good terms with all my brokers, locally that is, whether I trade with them actively or not .... I keep several accounts open, just so I can if I really need to use them BAD ...
one never knows, and I'm not much on burning bridges .....

About the limit turning into market thing --
I have looked and relooked at that PMBe email you posted yesterday about the limit order turning into a market order and a 5 point set up ....

Scott, I think, said his was 1/4 and maybe sometimes a 1/2 ... that was/is my experience with all I've used.....
and that is what we're paying for as slippage with his rules ....

I'm NOT griping ...
and it makes for a much larger penalty for me (percentage of profit) than others...

it is a fact of life with what I've done in the past
however, the emini, as I've been trading it lately doesn't seem as vulnerable, due to speed of execution.

The four or five trading accounts my old friend and I've used this year ....
the best I've come up with so far is XpressTrade and they have a screen I really like ...
cancels any position with a single click....
called the reverse screen.

I'm still spoiled to the phone right now, but I know the future lies in on line ....
I've not made an equity trade in nearly two years now that hasn't been online.

BTW ---
my 357 is only for short range use ...
you know, up to 30 feet or so ...
