Oregon Ruling is history now. But one of the three – CBS, Mary Meeker, or TJ, must be drunk. cbs.marketwatch.com Jermoluk said the company is "comfortable" with current Wall Street projections of about 1.5 to 2 million subscribers by the end of the year, up from about 500,000 now. Morgan Stanley Dean Witter analyst Mary Meecker said the broadband supplier may top 3 million by next year.

There is such a deficiency of broadband that wireless (via cell & satallite) cable and DSL will all do extremely well in the near term. Cable has some efficiencies but lacks user mobility. Long term its the crystal highway of fiber door-to-door but cost and other technological issues may keep this from being much more than a novalty for about 3 to 5 years. Hey way not buy a little of each of these and ride to BB wave everyone is so touting.Good luck and check for other more technical answers from Ahhaha and others.
