K. -- SFTBF on NSDQ -- Tokyo Symbol 9984. I met with DHL this morning -- they have 17 service centers in Japan -- will have 25 by the end of this year and 69 within two years -- guess why. Softbank is in the drivers seat in Asia -- but it and put it in your cookie jar with a note that says 'leave me alone, I am making you rich'.

To purchase Softbank you will probably have to use a full service broker such as Merrill Lynch. I do not know of any discounters that have access to Tokyo Stock Exchange shares. It is a premium service for which you should expect to pay a premium commission. At some future date sure you can expect Softbank to be listed on NASDAQ. But you can be sure that the locals in Tokyo will bid up the shares in advance of such a listing.
