Now this is the stuff that uproars are made of:

YAHOO'S AMAZING LAND GRAB

GeoCities' millions of "homesteaders" have gone ballistic, and Net News doesn't blame them. GeoCities has been taken over by Yahoo, which relaunched it as Yahoo-GeoCities on Monday - and sneaked in new contract clauses saying Yahoo, not the members, owns EVERYTHING on members' sites and has irrevocable rights to them for all time. This is what Clause 8 says: "By submitting Content to any Yahoo property, you automatically grant, or warrant that the owner of such Content has expressly granted, Yahoo the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive and fully sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such Content (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed." That means your pages, your words, your images, your ideas. Expect a tsunami - see docs.yahoo.com -From: Alan Farrelly, News Interactive. Australia

Does that mean if you insult [name deleted] on the GeoCities site, then Yahoo owns the insult and will be the defendant if [name deleted] sees fit to file another superfluous lawsuit?
