I'd be interested in hearing your negative take on the story. As a RMBS long, I almost pine for negative opinions as I am constantly questioning my long position (as I do with all my positions.)
We can continue this over on the RMBS thread in consideration of the AOL topic here. Thanks.

KeepItSimple,

What kind of electrical engineering do you do? Your profile is a bit vague on this.

I'm an EE, I can actually understand the manufacturing and economic data behind this story. I seriously doubt you can.

John

KIS, that wasn't a very smart post. Since you are an SI newbie, I'll take the trouble to explain why. There are some heavy weight engineers, guys who have enjoyed long and profitable careers in the semiconductor business, who haven't figured out rmbs yet - and a lot of them are on SI. There are guys on this thread with portfolios in 8 digits who will read your (I hope unintentional) arrogant remark and write you off as a person to share their knowledge with. Eventually, someone will nominate you to the Thread Morons list, and you'll have to resign your membership and sign up under another alias just to regain some level of credibility. We are here to exchange ideas and make some money, not to waste time reading braggadocio from a self proclaimed expert.

I hope you figure out what these boards are all about. It's a great place to learn if your NIH level doesn't filter out others' ideas.

Happy investing,
Frank

btw, my degree is in physics I've spent the last 35 years in the semiconductor business, and I'm still trying to make my mind up about rmbs.
