Mr. L. mentions in his book that with a discount broker his commission is about $25 per transaction. He uses that figure when he computes his expense ratio.

Robert- Actually I AM reading your weekly newsletter with some interest. This is why I did indicate that AIM could be used successfully with mutual funds because you are doing quite a good job of just that-esp with the Korean fund.

And yes, I did the read the book- I believe in 1980? when it was published. I was so excited about it I wrote a letter to the publisher and people started calling me from around the country about whether "it really worked?" Turned out they were copying my letter and sending out with Pr on the book.

I didn't mind but it was interesting.

Here is my Horror Story- I AIMed DSC communications from 20 to $3.
Almost 1/2 my IRA was in this stock. LIKE A FOOL- I sold out at the bottom. The stock then went to $60. That would have been 10,000 shares-Yes - I coulda beena contender....

The whole experience burned me out for awhile but here I am again.
