Morgan didn't manipulate this one too much! Yestreday when the entire market was up WCOM lost 2 points. Watch the bastards buy back now that they got out yestreday pre announcement and now can buy back 5 points cheaper. This stock is is still 120-140 by 2000. What a joke!

Maria Bartiromo and David Faber reported on CNBC that Morgan Stanley is cautious on telecoms.

The rest of the telecoms are relatively flat. QWST and GBLX are up a fraction. This looks like a major broker has either downgraded WCOM, or cut the numbers.

i thought something was wrong yesterday: heres the news 93 5/8: Telecommunications company's shares indicated 2 pts lower this morning on pricing pressure concerns in the long distance telecom industry. In earnings warning yesterday, Frontier Corp (FRO) blamed accelerated pricing erosion in the switched long distance business for its expected shortfall.
looks like a buy here @87 down 6.
