Why is Valence unable to say that they are producing batteries in commercial quantities? My guess is that the cells coming off the lines are still not consistently good and manual inspection of each cell is still required to weed out the bad ones. I recall that this was reported earlier this year. This must be very costly and time consuming. Can anyone comment on the quality control aspects of production and what the yield might be?

FMK, here's some thoughts for you.

1. VLNC has decisive influence on the actions of its JV partner, Hanil-Valence. Maybe H-V was forced to purchase sub-standard material from the NI line because it couldn't be made into viable commercial samples for any independent customers.

2. Alliant product hasn't been delivered yet, and the order dollar amount was conspicuously absent from the press release (which always means, in my experience, that it is too low to impress investors)

3. You've been issuing misleading information and inaccurate predictions for several years, and I don't see any indication of change.
