Michael Dell Selling Dell Shares To
Diversify

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Michael Dell, the chief executive of Dell
Computer Corp. (Nasdaq:DELL - news), is selling 4 million common
shares of the No. 2 personal computer maker to diversify his portfolio, Dell said Wednesday.

Dell's sale is ''part of his multi-year pattern of selling relatively small portions on a quarterly basis, mostly for diversification,'' said Dell spokesman T.R. Reid.

My response to this is bullsh**. This is not the time for Michael to be telling his shareholders to go screw themselves by selling parts of his own holdings. It may be a very small portion for him but it sends the very worse message to frustrated long and short term shareholders. I for one endured the excuses and been patient for quite a while but I now had enough of this and will start lightening my position. Mr. Dell is sending out the wrong message here and should have at least waited until the stock was on an upward momentum. The company has been very lack luster and disappointing as its performance over the past several months really stinks. Shareholders should really put the screws to him at the next shareholders meeting. The fundamental stability of this company has to be re-established. There are many better opportunities in other areas (imho). The nasdaq today reached a new all time high and the stock is well off its February high. Bad decision Mr Dell and I am one unhappy camper.

Best Regards
Frank
