Copper uses are reducing with Fiber Optic Cables rather than copper being used in telecommunication lines. Copper supplies are increasing with large projects like Batu Hijau, Escondida, and the doubling of production at Grasberg continuing to supply large volumes of copper concentrate to smelters all over the world. Copper inventories are at record highs and show no sign of reducing.

I repeat copper prices will likely stay below $.75/pound for the next 5 years at least!!
