I did not think, well prodded by my wife who studied economy along with other things, that we should have an interest rate hike. I think if A.G. had not talked himself in a corner with his speeches, there would have been no hike. JMO. Inflation not really in sight. This neutral stuff of course does not mean a thing. If inflation shows up, the FED will act. But at least they did not give in to those bears and shorts who were calling for 0.50 and a hawkish bias along with a call for at least 2 more hikes. I always felt that you don't act unless you have a probable cause. You don't shoot someone just because he says he may do it to you one day.
