You're probably right, t2k. This is probably a non-event in real terms. What I find interesting is that they waited until after the FED announcement to post the call information.

I am very curious.

[Another possibility could be recognizing possible legal settlements in earnings. The Caldera suit----MSFT motions to have the charges dismissed without trial were denied.]

I'd be surprised if it had anything to do with any of the legal proceedings. The courts are already public, so there's little need for extra disclosure there. They'd just issue their standard press release saying "X is suing us" or "we settled with Y".
