Steve, I fully agree with amateur daytraders loosing money: Shuffling money between themselves is not a zero-sum game. The commissions and the spread is bleeding off a substantial amount every time into the professionals' hands. Just like Vegas! Some may be lucky but in general they are slowly loosing. Despite the glorious success stories we read about, I am sure that the popularity will soon wear off and we will end up with too few traders getting broker on-line serviced by too many brokers on-line. Are there any available statistics about on-line accounts? Regards Per S
