Eric and all . . . the thing that really bothers me about the message is the reference to "the server, as in singular. Billions of investment dollars and millions of revenue dollars are hinged on one VERY flaky server at ebay that STILL does not have redundancy after all these problems? I'm sorry - I have clients that run fully redundant systems - they tell me it would take upwards of 10 days to implement FULLY redundant (as in mirrored) hardware, and this has been going on for WEEKS. Mr. K.
