I'm going with MBT with some money at Datek for the cheaper fills, friend has not had any problems the past month and seems to get filled ok. I currenly use eSignal for all my data. Do not rely on Fidelity for info. Thus, it looks to me as if Fidelity will delay execution on a limit order if a stock is running (they prevent you from buying a stock they know will be worth more in 5 minutes)or they will let it run before executing your trade if a market order at a higher price. Several people sent me personal messages stating the same observation. Fidelity will only immediately execute an order if it's in Fidelitys best interest. Thus, it is imperitive to trade with a broker who does not have the ulterior motive of trading against you, because you can not win. I have seen orders show up on Level II in a couple seconds so I know they have the capability to submit orders quickly. Yet, you can not buy a momentum stock that is rising and hope to get a resonable fill. They used to be better. But now how can anyone hope to short term trade at a place like this? For third day in a row a person at Datek got filled on an identical trade placed AFTER me. I sat watching 4 minutes of trades go off under my price. Again since it was a limit order equal or above the ask as in this case and the stock was rising they chose not to fill, cancelled order after bid was over my price. It was not in Fidelitys best interest to sell me a rising stock.
