K - I know that CPQ has a full court press to replace the SUN gear with Tandem Himalaya. They have a great story on availability since the Himalaya is bullet-proof but there would be substantial work to take the current ebay system to the new architecture. IBM does not have an equivalent high reliability system but can do better than SUN and the porting effort is less. Obviously both companies would love to displace SUN in this high visibility account.
