The next new twist I want to see in all of this is for our boy Joe Nacchio to twist that dead cat he wears on his head off!
It looks ridiculous!
No wonder they compare him to "My Cousin Vinny"!

Nick's replay of the WSJour's July 1, 1999 Technology Journal article, "Takeover Talks Between Qwest, Frontier Hit a Snag Over Confidentiality Pacts" hit a cord. Talk about a misleading headline. The story is that they are talking at all, not that one wants the other to keep a secret. Sheesh. Using the WSJ standard, the headline could have said, "Frontier May Have Used Competitor's Proprietary Hardware to Contact Qwest" since there is no proof he didn't use ATT.

Regards,
Harry (after one too many cups of coffee)
