Great article but I believe it misses the point. The obvious conclusion that I come to is:

1.Gold is manipulated, therefore there must be a reason.
2.The profit made on shorting gold is just a side benefit....those who work always turn a profit.
3.The prime goal in crushing gold is to de-monetize it....period. This leaves the dooor wide open for the powers that be to make some real wealth re-distribution profits, not just a few billion here or there shorting gold.
