Thursday trades for Nemer

short 2 at 1381 out at 1374 profit 14 points

total trades 1
total contracts 2
total fees 2
total profit 14 points

I've gotten a couple of emails asking for a little explanation on the "stairstep" deal I proposed in this post ....

ok ..

this is the MAIN reason I like the emini ..
fast execution and NO hanging in the unknown as to filled or not.

say that -
I got in
(didn't try, but lets say I did for illustration)
at short 3 contracts at 94.5
(mid range of my 94-95 on the post)
within two to three minutes, I could see that the anticipated run wasn't going to develop (imo) and I would have closed out all 3 for a slight profit at somewhere around 92.5 ... the rebound from 92 would have started to spook me and I will bail QUICKLY .... don't like losses ....
instead of going ahead and trying to set up the SAR at above my picked positions

so the emini gives me the ability to set a plan in motion, and then to alter it even before it has a chance to fail and still come close to a small profit ....

that is why I didn't enter the short on the subsequent rebound to 94 two minutes later ....
the risk/reward ratio had moved out of being in my favor because the time and price factors were wrong. ...

any questions, anyone, before the one minute chart becomes history ..
