Bill, Mike too, Thanks for your input. I am not an economist, just retired chem.eng. playing in this violent market that has disproved my forecasts so many times. However, seeing this U.S. market go down 40-60% is somewhat incomprehensible to me. Maybe the market is overvalued by the old standards before micro-chip revolution/explosion industries. Remember that one computer operator today can produce more than 10 typists 20 yrs ago. You can have a face to face conference without having to move out of your office.I remember when I had to talk to 3 telephone operators before I can reach my party overseas. Our machines are automated and much more accurate. We pay for oil the price we feel we like .. thanks for our might. We coerce other nations to do whatever we feel like with their economies. On and on .. I think this prestige has a price and that is reflected in BV and PE. JMHO. I wish you can convince me that DOW should be 6000, 4600 or 3---. MUK
