Thread...out of curiosity: Nortel I know it's a G&K watch and wait. I'm in Santa Fe and happened to meet a guy who works for them (and got rich on stock options already--especially since the stock plummeted to 26 last Oct on wrong investor perception...and is now near 90). Taking what he said with a grain of salt, he believes they'll outwin others in the field to put a "box" on every house the way there is a telephone box, but it will have cable, t.v. and data. Since I'm not familiar with the technology, I cannot understrand all the details of what he said. The cable modem technology they invented isn't even the half of it apparently, that's in the past. I asked if he considered what they have an enabling technology a la Gorilla Game and he said yes, seemed to know the philosophy. Now if I'm recalling correctly (the altitude was makign me fuzzy) AT&T just did a deal w/ them... Who on this thread has a stake in NT? Jill
