Defroked, have you seen the retail sales in the UK, it seems that they are recovering.

I am seriously thinking to sell 50% of my bonds and take a loss.

<<AG's Fed is getting wishy-washy >>

Agree on that. I had to read it twice to understand it. (I think I understand it now - but I am not sure if I will pass a test. -g-)

<<The Committee had said that it would not necessarily publish every change in the symmetry of its directive, but this shift to asymmetry represented a significant change in the Committee's assessment of the risks of higher inflation, and its announcement would alert the financial markets and the public more generally to this development. >>

Seriously, who writes all this crappy English? Must be those MBA types who always avoided a math course or two and chose "Effective Communications 501" instead. That way, there is no danger of their GPA slipping and nothing to worry about sharpening their brains. -g-

Def: I was amazed yesterday. The move to a neutral bias made no sense to me whatsoever. In talks today, the only logical explanation anyone could come up with was the possibility that there's a big problem somewhere that's just not evident to us mere mortals.
