I see my recent experiences were not unique. I think smth is definitely screwed up - I see this behavior in "normal" stocks, like NITE, not even IPO, or BAMM type deals. I also have had situations on Wednesday (before the FOMC announcement, so the trading was very slow), where I was buying a slow stock, but fairly liquid (700K average volume) - and I was buying at the bid; I was best ISLD bid, also, and I never showed up on the ISLD book, and ISLD never showed on LII w/ my price. Finally, after a few minutes I got executed, and they waved the commish. This is very disheartening - like I say, the one outstanding feature of Datek are the excellent executions... if this is gone, then that is the end of Datek as far as I'm concerned. I'll be monitoring this very closely over the next few trading sessions.
