My answer is too much, since this violates the separation of church and state, and congress knew that when they went into the exercise, therefore they wasted precious time and energy on something with no possible outcome...

These ideas are nearly universal in application. Some may be more or less relevant in our society but for the most part there can be no harm in posting the Commandments in our schools, courthouses, etc. The cost is negligible and the potential good that could come from the posting is unlimited.
