OK- here is probably a really dumb question...or 2

#1 When you are viewing the messages '10 at a time' how do you respond to a message? there is no Respond button that I could find. The ability to choose one from the list should be there somewhere- my eyes cant find it.

#2 If you edit your profile, you used to be able to see a preview of it before you sent it to the masses and edit it more if you wanted to. Cant find that option either.

Thanks
Carole

How about this:

unicus.com

640 Wide, and a table with boarder around the message area.

Some links deleted, they can be added to the pull down menus.

This way the message stands out more.

Please don't look at the code, half asleep, it's messy.
Some stuff is out of proportion, but it gives an idea.

Jeff, will the new site continue to require cookies being set on my system? If so, what are their purpose?(especially Go2Net's?) I'm a bit confused as to this and the advertising,,this is not a free service, why should I expect to pay for what I consider invasion of privacy? I noticed Go2net also wants to set a cookie,in addition to Silicon Investor..For this reason,I have continued to use the old site for now..Would appreciate you addressing these questions,,didn't I read a post from you or your brother back when SI became part of Go2,stating you would not subject us to this type of invasion? TIA,DD
PS: as I read the cookies,,"will be sent to any server in the domain"
where is this info going? IQC? Edgar? Other site affiliates?-I like the "new Coke" analogy,IMO it applies to these changes..

Hi Jeff,

I pulled off a bunch of variations on a wierd hack on the beta site. And reported all of them (with source code)

Overall I like the new site much better, plus on the old site when I used netscape I could never click on a person to get their profile. but i could in IE. now in the new site it works under both browsers...

I like the new site!
