hello all. i have my theory on why nas. is up and rmbs is down. when the nas. is on a roll the traders trade and make profits. they take these profits and buy rmbs the next day. that causes rmbs to go up and they take profits again that afternoon. ( rmbs almost always sells off in last 1/2 hour on almost no vol.)rmbs almost never goes up or down for more than 3 days. as don green states, this stock is a terrific trading vehicle. the big moves are caused by short covering. so ,hold it , trade it, but don't short it. re Via: via. bought cyrix to get around intc lawsuit for i.p. on motherboard tech. also via gets their own processor. intel claims lic. doesn't transfer with the sale. intel could keep this baby in court until the 133 doesn't matter. via. seems to think that they can go head to head with intel and win in the lower end pc. bus. i don't think so. their pockets aren't deep enough and would you lend them money to fight intc and to compete with intel? not i. i was fishing last 2 days. sothis long post makes up. rocky ps. i bet intc. has a clause in their i.p. contracts that reads something like " if you sell your company all intel lic. are revoked and no intel tech. info may transfered to the buyers." otherwise people could get lics. from intel and sell the tech. on the open market, instead of the gray market like they do today.
