S3 is so good, that instead of losing money, they might even break even. Wow, ATI must really be worried. S3 has few design wins, and not much attention on Wall Street. They are taking market share from ATI. Bullshit, ATI market share is rising, so S3 is having no impact. We get all these warnings just as the stock starts to go up. MAkes you wonder.....

S3 taking market shares from ATI?

S3's burn rate seems to have slowed down. Is the 0-5c loss after taking into account one time extraordinary gains from sales of shares, or completely from their ongoing operations. If the latter, it is indeed an impressive turnaround.

As for market share gains from ATI : Ken P's statements should be easy to verify. ATI announces quarter earnings next week.

If their EPS is significantly below C$0.20, then Ken P is right. If they make > C$0.25 /share, then Ken needs new market intelligence. If the figure is another blowout above $0.30, then I would seriously question his credibility.
