ttosbt..."pc week pr"

if you read all of msd statements during this week, none were earth shattering as far as dell future...future in the sense of direction beyond the pc/server market....the market is well aware of dell past and current position...the stock languishes because no "vision"(hate that word)was made clear by "mikey"...talking about the power of computing and broad band means pc, pc, pc....unlike ibm declaring itself the "backbone" of the net...

you can't continue growth at this rate without taking a larger risk....only so much can be squeezed out of partnering.....and when economic times become a bit dim, difficult to compete if you have to add your margin on top of your strategic partners margin...for instance, who can sell an hwp printer cheaper...hwp? or dell? who can offer service at a better charge out rate dell/wang or wang...

everything runs along fine with strategic partnering...in the best of times........every partner for himself in lean times...loyalty does not transcend the bottom line....a business reality!
