byron....re: dell and csco the comment was made purely on a comparison of stock price and pe...nothing to do with the sector each is in. dell commanded a high pe for years, and still relatively does based on future of pc...dell pe shrinking for the market perception is that dell future is today...market rewards csco with high pe, as it once did dell because csco future is the future...not the present... as i stated, dell must assume risk to maintain growth...at some point they reach a saturation point in pc's...msd speaks of europe as dell strong market...low euro/dollar conversion will further reduce margins when dollars are repatriated to austin usa.....
