re tobacco--did you see the article Monday
in the WSJ about R.J. Reynolds and it's
nicotine program? Yikes!

yeah, I got on my usual rant with that last
one. It is probably just the latest chapter in
the saga of US/European trade relations.

We're very lucky over here in America, food
quality is so much better than the local crap
they eat over there. My wife lived in London
a couple years, I'm pretty sure it was she
who told me how awful the meat is, much less
getting good produce.

And I lived for a few years in Wenatchee--
you know, the Apple capitol? I did not care
for the level of spraying they do on the fruit
crops over there, but I have to say, I'd rather
have cheap high-quality fruit in my diet, with
a small amount of pesticides, than have to
eat a diet of processed foods. Fresh fruit,
mmmm. Nothing like a ripe peach right off the
tree.

Have a nice Holiday Dude...I'm working through
Monday, you'll probably see a few more posts
from me on the subject, ah, uploaded during my
breaks of course;-)
