Mattie,

I am in it with you this morning based on technical breakout. But I really wonder if the buyout rumor has any merits.

You have a good long weekend.

Iris

Mattie,

My broker told me last week that he talked to their analyst who had met Michael Eisner the previous day. According to the analyst, DIS is going to spin off their Internet properties with a tracking stock which would sell around $55. They would offer SEEK shareholders a 10%-15% premium on top of that to get enough shareholders to sell their shares to boost Disney's 43% to over 50%. This gives them the controlling majority they need without having to spend the money and buy the entire 57%.

I still hold my position that I've had for a while, and I am not excited about a 10%-15% premium at the suggested price.

Have you or others heard anything that would confirm or contradict this story?
