to the Ze'ers Ron, what kind of 6 month statistics do you keep? such as ... average days held then sold at gain average days held then sold at loss average percent gain etc. which 'sector' gives the most the fastest which sector is the slowest but safest ... Is Larry still a "leader of the pack"? <ggg> Larry ... am glad you bot the HYPT for the Z, am going to keep it on watch now Dan, you and other friends around SI posted about GMGC, I follow it for years, if you recall. Took 2 huge losses in it (yes, actually sold at loss), hope this last entry may recoup some ... keep up the chart read for us on the Z occasionally ... you read 'em great, longer term Ron ... tsk tsk on that bugger CUST ... I had the buy button ready at about 50, couldn't pull it ... you are much smarter than I, and was expecting a total tank to 30 as soon as I pulled the buy trigger, but your short scares the beejeebees out of me <ggg> anyone follow the DIR? not sure what to do on it now, the other financials in it's class rebounded nice on Friday ... but DIR stayed the laggard ... just a simple "dip" that I should show a lil patience with? Dan, would appreciate your read if you can take the time. It's been a good 6 months ... but still I am not the "trader" I had hoped to be by now. Holding losers with no exit points, that I can make myself keep. But. Have found a good way around that is to buy "name" brand stocks ... cause they always come back examples of stocks I held at a loss much longer than I should have ...were INTC in at 62 went as low as 51 ... now still in portfolio with a gain same with PFE in at 109 it went below one hundred ... so now that I have pretty much confirmed that that does work, I am/should work on averaging down .... but only on the good ones. appreciate your work Ron, on the portfolio ... although we are not as chatty on our thread as in years past ... we still have a valuable tool .. that being ... the wealth of info we pool together and share ... this gained from time and trust Paul ... you are a valuable puppy ... full of good knowledge in the oils sector ... please post on the oils and buy some oil for our portfolio. Oil stocks have done an easy double in the past several months ... our portfolio is sadly lacking in that area. Sincerely, Sue
