Terry,

As you know, I have a 16 and an 18. My 18 had his first date as a sophomore, my 16 has yet to have his first date. He is most definitely interested in girls but as he put it, not in A girl. We're just letting him set his own pace. His friends are also not dating but they go in big mixed groups to movies or to someone's house to "hang". I find this really healthy and am delighted that that my guys have been socially slow. I don't know how we would have handled sexual precociousness.

O.K. here comes the childless persons point of view...I would never ever look for them. If I found them I would smile and walk away. If he was in elementary school maybe we would have a talk. High school...that's his stuff in his room. Leave him alone.
