<Guys who describe the women they sleep with in such contemptuous terms may actually have homosexual leanings, which they don't admit to. They sleep with women because a guy is supposed to, because that proves he is "A Man," but basically women disgust them, and sex with them is a "dirty job." So in talking about those women later, they show that disgust.> I would agree that for some men, this might explain their behavior. I also think many men who find themselves in these discussions do not actually actively participate, but do not object because of peer pressure or for some other reason. But yet another explanation for this "boys will be boys" stuff is that it helps monogamous married men blow off steam. I understand that women almost never have any problems staying monogamous, but that it can be more of a stretch for males. This is a way for them to feel that they are "married but not dead" as they often put it.
