Gottfried, I only had to promise to use MSN as my ISP for
3 years at $19.95 per month [unlimited usage]. The PC has a 400 MHz

Will you new PC be compatiable with the technology improvements for 3 years? This is especially true since Intc is coming out with their 550MHz. What happens if you want to get a faster computer before the 3 years. Outside of these concerns you may be going the way of the future when PC's are given away.

Where did you get your new faster PC--what was your source. I might be interested myself.

Paul

Gottfried,

I always find your Posts, especially your One-Liners, thought provoking.

RE "...I just bought a new e-Tower PC for a total
outlay of $146. I only had to promise to use MSN as my ISP for 3 years at $19.95 per month [unlimited usage]..."

Two weeks ago in this Post directed to you and all: ---http://beta.siliconinvestor.com/stocktalk/readmsg.aspx?msgid=10160535

I mentioned about: --- "Instead of paying Newspaper and TV ADs, Vendors could just giveaway computers!..."

Now, is the World spinning faster than usual? Now, They are giving away computers just to be able to sell something else!

... and they don't even need to advertise on Newspapers and TVs. By Word of mouth and Free Internet ride --- Wow, that's one Big Creative Marketing scheme!

Are Times really Fast-a-Changing? Do I see more Chips-a-Coming for the benefit of AMAT & Company?

Also in the same Post, this statement: --- " ... or how about Sony (who has a Digital Hi 8 Camcorder that can see in total darkness) manufacturing a pair of glasses (with Chips Inside) that can be used by people at night --- reducing power consumption by turning off some lights!"

... led Paul V to remind me: --- "Now, Tito, you have gone to far! How will I run around in my house nude in the dark.<VVBG> The peeping toms would love you!:)"

Now, I'm worried about Paul V's Freedom in the Dark!
